January 10, 2016 @ 930 am – Unitarian Universalists of Clearwater 2470 Nursery Rd. Clearwater, FL

Bailey Riley, former editor of the Earth First! Journal, helped found the Tampa Books to Prisoners Project. Books to Prisoners is a nationwide effort to promote better prison conditions and treatment as well as to aid in the humanization of those behind bars.

This talk will address the work we do as an organization to aid prisoners in obtaining educational materials, as well as the ways in which U.S. society perpetuates the system of mass incarceration.
